Will Lockdown extend in Tamil Nadu? Medical Experts Committee makes Recommendation to Government!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsTamil Nadu Chief Minister Eddapadi K Palaniswamy on Monday consulted a panel of medical experts in order to discuss the COVID19 situation in the state. Various issues related to the COVID19 Lockdown were discussed as a part of the meeting.
As per the latest media reports, the medical experts committee has recommended the government not to extend the curfew. However, the committee has advised them to continue high surveillance and ensure that COVID19 testing is done rampantly.
The committee has also recommended the government to increase coronavirus testing in all districts of Tamil Nadu and especially in densely populated areas such as Chennai, Trichy, Madurai, Vellore and Tiruvannamalai.
