Kauvery Hospital today released yet another update saying that DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi has been responding well to the treatment meted out by an expert team of doctors.
Karunanidhi was admitted to the hospital last Friday following a spike in his temperature upon recovering from a urinary tract infection.
Earlier in the day, Congress president Rahul Gandhi paid a visit to the veteran leader and enquired of his well-being.
