Speaking at the Rotaract Annual District Conference held in Chennai on Sunday, actor-politician Kamal Haasan took turns taking jabs at DMK President MK Stalin and fellow actor-politician Rajinikanth.

The Makkal Needhi Maiam founder stated that it was he who started holding Gram Sabha meetings at villages despite it being there for decades. Haasan pointed out that people started copying him, referring to Stalin and others holding such meetings now. He said, "Are you not ashamed of copying from a small boy?"

Kamal Haasan even took a jab at the DMK President and said that he will never wear a torn shirt. He retorted that even if his shirt gets torn, he would rather wear another shirt, referring to when Stalin who came out of the Tamil Nadu Assembly in a torn shirt when Chief Minister K Palaniswami sought the vote of confidence.

Haasan mocked Rajinikanth too and said, "After oiling the body and twirling the moustache, if one backs out from the wrestling field saying they will come the next day then nobody will respect them. Then why were you slapping your thighs? Just for the sound?"
