Kamal Haasan Reacts to Govt's Decision on TASMAC!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsMakal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan once again slammed the Tamil Nadu government in his Tweet on Friday. He took a stance against the Tamil Nadu government’s decision to approach the Supreme Court.
Earlier, the Tamil Nadu government challenged the Madras High Court’s decision that directed closure of TASMACs across the state. The Supreme Court on Friday directed a stay on the order passed by Madras High Court.
Kamal Haasan criticized the government stating that they have not been keen on addressing issues concerning the general public whereas the government has been proactive in ensuring the reopening of TASMACs across the state.
He also stated that the government challenged the High Court's decision in the Supreme Court in order to deliberately delay the closure of TASMACs in the state.
