'4 Kg Gold, 601 Kg Silver' found in 'Poes Garden house Veda Nilayam'- How many ACs and Phones? Total number of TVs, Fridge, Furniture and Other Household items Listed here!

Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday published a list of movable properties found inside former CM Jayalalithaa’s Poes Garden residence. The list includes 4 kg gold, 601 kg silver, 8376 books, 38 ACs, 11 television sets and 10438 dress materials/ towels/ bed sheets/ curtains/ footwear among other properties. 

‘Veda Nilayalam’ is the house where the former Chief Minister lived. It was taken over by the government of Tamil Nadu. The list of properties has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette since the government is planning convert it into a memorial.

Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami announced in 2017 that Veda Nilayam should be converted as a memorial and open to the public in remembrance of J Jayalalithaa’s achievements and sacrifices for the people of Tamil Nadu.
