Swine Flu Spreads Fast in TN; Symptoms and Precautions Listed

Earlier in the month of July, more than 5000 people were affected by Dengue which became the major setback for the Health Department in Tamil Nadu.
The inception of North East Monsoon led to a change in climatic conditions in Tamil Nadu which has contributed to the formation of Swine Flu across the state. More than 700 people were affected this year by Swine Flu while 200 people have been affected only in the past week in Tamil Nadu as reported by The Hindu.
Though Swine Flu is in control in TN compared to other states, the Health Department has listed the following precautions to prevent Swine Fly from spreading to people in the state.
Swine Flu (H1NI influenza Virus) can be easily spread from one person to another through coughing and sneezing. People are advised to use masks while traveling extensively in public places.
Some of the common symptoms of Swine Flu are Fever, Coughing and Thorat Pain. In such cases, People are advised to consult with swine flu specialist doctors in Government Hospitals rather than taking their own medication.
The Dami Flu tablets used to treat Swine Flu are readily available with the Government. It is said that Swine Flu can be cured within one week if subject to proper observation and treatment at the hospital.
