Heard of a Grand ‘Corona Feast?' Tamil Nadu youngsters Cooked a Corona Feast and Landed in Trouble!

Many youngsters have been arrested for defying the lockdown in Tamil Nadu since March, but they are continuing to land in trouble while the state is fighting the corona spread.
According to the police, a group of youngsters was arrested in the Thanjavur district of TN on Thursday, where they held a ‘Corona feast’. Inspector Ganthimadhi said that the food was cooked in a secluded place outside the village on Wednesday. She added that the youth had consumed the food off of plantain leaves, facing each other. During interrogation, the accused had confessed that it was held for fun.
A video of the event was uploaded on Facebook as well. Visuals show around 20 men, including children, eating the meals while in close proximity to one another.
Those arrested are Sivaguru, Shankar, Manikandan, and a few other residents. They have been booked under Section 144 since it is imposed, Section 188 of Code of Criminal Procedure (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), Section 269 of IPC (negligent act likely to spread infections or diseases), Section 3 of the Epidemic Disease Act, and Section 67 of the IT Act.
