Govt Takes Action against Workers who Threw COVID Patient's Dead body into a Pit!

The deceased who had travelled from Chennai to Puducherry, reached his relative’s place. However, upon arrival his health condition has worsened and he fell unconscious after a sudden heart stroke. He was rushed to the government hospital but was declared brought dead.
The health care officials ran corona tests. Upon the arrival of a positive test result, the dead body was completely wrapped in sheets. The officials instructed to bury the body in Puducherry and denied the relatives’ request to take the body to Chennai.
In a shocking video, sanitary workers wearing Personal Protective Equipment, can be seen carrying the dead body from the ambulance, and recklessly throwing it into the 20-feet-deep pit.
The video had been making rounds online, and many went against the Puducherry government for such reckless behaviour. Hence, serious action was taken against the three workers who were present in the video.
