Going for Hair Cut? You have to take this with You! - TN Govt issues Guidelines for Hair, Beauty and Spa services!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsThe salons and beauty parlours have opened in Tamil Nadu. However, a few new guidelines for both the customers and workers have been issued. For instance, customers must now carry their Aadhaar for a haircut.
In Tamil Nadu, customers must provide both their Aadhaar number and their mobile phone number before fulfilling their services. This comes as a necessity as the process of contact tracing for COVID-19 will become easier. The SOP read, “With details in hand, it would be easy for contact tracing, which is taking a long time. We are taking various steps but public cooperation is essential.”
Apart from this, hand sanitisers are to be provided at the entrances, if not soap and water to wash hands. Only 50% of the seats can be occupied and the Air conditioners should not be used. Complete ventilation must be provided and the used blades and other waste are to be disposed safely. Workers must also be wearing gloves and masks.
No employee with a cold, cough, or a fever can work. Customers with similar symptoms are also instructed to refrain from visiting the parlours or salons.
