Shocking Video: Four men attack police in Chennai

A video of four people attacking a police man has gone viral on social media. According to Puthiya Thalaimurai, the incident has occurred in Chennai's Kodambakkam.

A constable named Karthikeyan, who works in Pondy Bazaar police station, was on night rounds on June 13 checking vehicles on Kodambakkam Highway. He allegedly spotted four men talking to transgenders and warned them to leave the place, the reports further say.

But the four men allegedly claimed to be lawyers and argued with the police. Reportedly, after that, the police took out lathi from his bike and started hitting them. He also called backup using the walkie-talkie he possessed.

The men instead allegedly hit the police and broke the walkie-talkie. Other policemen who were also doing rounds spotted them and have arrested them. The 4 men belong to Yezhuginaru area and upon investigation it has been revealed that they are not lawyers.
