Power Shutdown from 9 am to 2 pm in Parts of Chennai on August 21, Friday : List of Areas to be Affected!

The Tamil Nadu Electricity Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) announced that maintenance work will be undertaken in several parts of Chennai city, between 9 am and 2 pm on August 21 (Friday). In order to facilitate the same, power will be shut down until the work is complete.
The list of areas are being updated in order to help facilitate those working from home. However, if the work is completed before 2 pm then the power supply will be resumed.
The List of Areas to be affected on August 21 are as follows:
Velachery West & Central Area: Part of 100 feet Bye pass road, Devi Karumariamman Nagar, Bhel Sakthi Nagar, Officer colony, Selliamman Nagar, Maheswari Nagar.
Velachery East Area: Part of 100 feet Taramani link road, Mahatma Gandhi Nagar, Thamirabharani street, Anna Nagar, New colony.
Thiruvanmiyur Area: 21st to 25th  cross street Indira Nagar, 3rd & 4th main road Indira Nagar, 3rd & 4th Avenue Indira Nagar, 3rd cross street Indira Nagar, 17th, 18th ,28th & 29th cross street Indira Nagar, CPW Quarters, Indira Nagar 15th lane.
Neelankarai Area: Pandian Salai, Surya garden, Kumaraguru Avenue, Sivan Koil street, Ellai Amma Koil street, Sengeni Amman Koil street, ECR – Liberty company to Police station, Anna Nagar 1st to 4th street, Saraswathi Nagar (South and North).
Injambakkam Area: Prarthana Theatre & Road, Anna Enclave, Royal Enclave, Swastik Avenue, ECR part, Saibaba Koil road.
