Exclusive: DMK MLA J Anbazhagan's emotional take on Corona in his Last Interview!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsDMK MLA J Anbazhagan passed away at around 8:05am on his 62nd birthday on 10 June. He was a three-time MLA who won the 2001, 2011 and 2016 assembly elections. He was an incumbent Member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni constituency in Chennai District.
He was admitted to a private hospital on 2nd may and was tested positive for COVID19. He succumbed to the disease and lost his life after he was diagnosed with COVID19 Pneumonia and his health condition started deteriorating.
In his last exclusive interview to Behindwoods, he not only had an emotional message to give about COVID19 but he also spoke about his party and the relationship he shared with DMK leaders at the helm.
Corona is a very difficult disease to deal with. Even mothers are being restricted from meeting their children, he said in the interview.
He was a part of DMK from a very young age and he climbed up the political ladder under the guidance of former DMK President and Chief Minister Karunanidhi. He spoke in detail about his affiliation with the party for over a period of almost 40 years.
