DMK MLA Anbazhagan In Critical Condition - Report From Hospital

DMK MLA J Anbazhagan, who was admitted for treatment with COVID-19 in Chennai's hospital is said to be in a critical condition. He was earlier admitted to a health care facility after testing positive for the coronavirus and was also kept in a ventilator. 

A recent report on Anbazhagan's health has been released by the hospital, it reads as, "from today evening there has been a significant deterioration of his condition. His oxygen requirement has gone up once again and his cardiac function is also deteriorating requiring medicine support for blood pressure."

"His existing chronic kidney disease is also worsening. His condition currently is described as critical," the report further added. 

After having fallen sick on June 3, he was admitted to Doctor Rela Institute and Medical Centre, Chrompet. There he was informed that he had tested positive for covid-19. 

The 61 year-old MLA, is currently a member of the legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu.
