'COVID-19 Test Certificate' Must to 'Enter' District - Visitors without 'Document' will be Sent Back! - District Collector!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsIn order to enter Erode district, people are now mandated to take a coronavirus test. Upon the provision of test results, people are allowed to enter the district.
This new order was passed on Thursday by the District Collector Katiravan. This step is taken to reduce the number of coronavirus cases and is expected to contain the spread of the virus.
For months together, Erode has been among the least affected districts in Tamil Nadu. While the state has confirmed 119 thousand cases, Erode has only had around 286 confirmed cases as of today. Around 85 people have recovered from the infection and 5 deaths have been recorded.
