COVID-19 Update for TN, today: Total Positive Cases, Deaths, and Recoveries as on July 5!

Tamil Nadu on Sunday, July 5, reported 4,077 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,11,151.

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 5:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 46,860*  

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  68,085 / 43,044

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 95 (49 Govt + 46 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date –     13,41,715

- Total number of samples tested today –    34,831 

- Total number of persons tested till date –    12,83,419

- Total number of persons tested today – 34,102

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 62,778 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  2,186

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 60 (17 Private and 43 Govt) / 1,510
