COVID-19: 50 New Cases in Tamil Nadu, Total Cases Now at 621!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsTamil Nadu on Monday reported 50 new Coronavirus cases taking the total number of positive cases to 621, State Health Secretary Beela Rajesh told reporters. Of the 50 new cases, 48 cases are linked to the Delhi Nizamuddin conference.
Chennai has the highest number of Coronavirus cases in Tamil Nadu (110), followed by Coimbatore where 59 cases have been reported so far.
As per Tamil Nadu Heath Department’s latest data, the state government has screened 2,10,538 passengers and has isolated 1766 suspected individuals in hospitals.
The state government has tested 5015 samples of which 621 have tested positive. Results of 295 samples are awaited. Of the 1427 people who attended the Delhi Nizamuddin conference, 574 have tested positive.
