Coimbatore accident: Families of deceased demand more than Rs 1 lakh compensation

Five women and one man died in an accident in Coimbatore on Wednesday when an Audi car that belonged to a college owner, rammed their share auto. 

Tamil Nadu government had announced a compensation of Rs 1 lakh to the families of the deceased. Considering the gravity of the accident and the living conditions of the dead in question, families of the deceased, as per a report on Puthiya Thalaimurai, have urged the state government to up the compensation and also provide with a government job to kith and kin of the dead. 

Meanwhile, the driver of the Audi was not found in an inebriated condition as reported before but was tired having taken an overnight trip the day before.
