Kumaravel took to Twitter on Friday to confirm his rejoining. “What appears to be a end of the road, can really be a bend in the road. Happy to be back home,” he wrote attaching a picture of him with Kamal Haasan.
The founder of popular salon-chain Naturals, had in March, said though Kamal Haasan’s intentions are good, the team around him do not reflect the same. Criticizing the party for lack of planning and execution, Kumaravel had also expressed disappointment over the party’s delayed announcement of candidates during General Elections. However, after officially quitting MNM, he did not join another political party.
Asked what changed now, Kumaravel, On Friday, said he do not see anyone else other than Kamal Haasan to lead Tamil Nadu towards progress. Besides, he had been assured of ‘same access’ to Mr Haasan despite big changes in the party’s vertical structure.
“Kamal Haasan has always treated me well. I had problems with the team. I had problems with the party’s vertical structure. Now that is solved. I am not a politician to go from one party to another. I thought it would be good to rejoin the party and achieve its objectives,” Kumaraval was quoted as saying by the Hindu.
