Corona Threat: China Ship Carries 'Cat' to Chennai Harbour
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsAmidst widespread coronavirus threat, a caged cat was found inside a China Ship in Chennai Harbour, reports PT. The cat was found when the harbour toll authorities inspected the containers of the ship on Thursday.
Reportedly the cat was found next to a container that was carrying toys for children. Later the cat was isolated from the cage for a medical check-up.
The authorities were not clear who admitted the cat inside the ship and further investigation has been rolled out.
Meanwhile, the authorities were re-loading the entire shipment into the container to send it back to China.
On the other side, a person named Sakthikumar who returned from China to his homeland Arandhangi in Pudhukottai district 12 days ago passed away recently. Reportedly Sakthi Kumar died as his liver was affected while also suffering from Jaundice.
