Chennai Petrol Bunk, Bag Inside Auto and CCTV Footage

It would have been a normal day for two men in Chennai Royapettah if they had not noticed the bag inside an auto which led them to police arrest later for robbing money from the petrol bunk.

Two men had gone to one Royapettah petrol bunk in two-wheeler to refill fuel for the vehicle. The men were surprised to a bag filled with cash inside an auto that was standing in the petrol bunk. One of the men took the money and eloped along with his partner in a two-wheeler.

Minutes later the petrol bunk employee was shocked to see the bag missing from the auto. Reportedly the auto belongs to the petrol bunk and the stolen cash was the collection money. It is said that Rs 1 lakh was kept inside the stolen bag.

CCTV Footage

Followed by the police complaint, the two men were arrested based on the evidence acquired through CCTV footage. The police officers had recovered Rs 50,000 from the arrested men according to the reports.
