Chennai: 200 Buses for Convenience of Govt and Health Workers!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsThe Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday announced that 200 buses will be operated across Chennai for the convenience of government and health workers who are working amid the Coronavirus crisis.
Tamil Nadu reported its first death due to Coronavirus on Wednesday taking the death toll of India to 11.
A 54-year-old patient at Rajaji Hospital in Madurai succumbed to the virus in the wee hours of Wednesday. The patient had a medical history of prolonged illness with steroid-dependent COPD, uncontrolled diabetes with hypertension.
The state is under complete lockdown with only shops selling essential commodities such as medicine and food open.
