According to local news channel, an unidentified person called the police control room today and stated that a bomb has been planted at the residence of Rajinikanth.
Ever since the call has been made, the Chennai police are conducting a search at his residence with the help of sniffer dogs and bomb detectors.
After the news went viral, fans and followers of the actor gathered near his residence in Poes Garden.
