Chennai COVID-19 Update: Area-Wise Breakup  of Cases, Recoveries & Containment Zone as of May 12 

Tamil Nadu yesterday reported 798 new coronavirus cases in the state. With this sudden rise, the total number of cases of coronavirus in Tamil Nadu has reached to 8,002 with 53 people passing away.

The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) took to social media and shared the positive cases of area-wise breakup. 

Chennai, has so far contributed more than 2,000 cases. Yesterday, the city reported over 500 cases and it alone accounts for over half of all the cases in the state.
