Corona in Chennai: Area wise Breakup of Cases in Chennai as of May 29!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsWith the rise in COVID-19 cases, Tamil Nadu on May 28, reported 827 new confirmed cases that has taken the tally of the state to 19,372.
The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) took to social media and shared an updated list of total COVID-19 positive cases in Chennai. With the recent update, there are nearly 637 case that has been reported in Chennai, which has taken the city tally to 13,399.
Looking into other factors; the total recovered cases in the city are 6,330 while the total deceased are 102. Also, the total active cases has touched 6, 229.
As Chennai has the most number of coronavirus cases in the state; few zones in the city has crossed 1000-mark that has become a concern for the people.
The list is below:
- Royapuram with 2,324 cases
- Thiru Vi Ka Nagar with 1,393 cases
- Kodambakkam with 1, 646 cases
- Teynampet with 1,412 cases
- Tondiarpet with 1,322 cases
- And finally Anna Nagar with 1,089 cases.
