TN Govt Makes Important Announcement On Lockdown! - Details
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsWith the rise in COVID-19 deaths and fresh cases everyday, the Tamil Nadu government has extended the lockdown till July 31.
As per Times of India (ToI) report, the current ongoing intense lockdown in Chennai and Madurai has also been extended till 5 July.
Meanwhile, the state government also stated that there will be total lockdown on all Sundays during the extended lockdown period across the state.
Looking at the rise in cases today, Tamil Nadu reported 3,949 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 86,224.
