RTO Shares Lesser-Known Traffic Law to Motorists and Public
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsHumanity is something that every individual has deep within his or her conscious level. While humans often forget the roots of humanity, they blame society, law and administrators. The highest level of humanity could be seen when somebody lends his or her hand for the aid of a badly injured person on the road- Accident.
We have seen people just surrounding an accident victim and there will be one person (mostly hero) who lashes out at the bystanders and helps the victim in many films. It is said that most people refuse to help accident victims fearing they will be called for the police station and a case would be registered including their identities.
But the truth is different - People who help accident victims can save themselves from Civil and Criminal cases and they don't have to reveal their personal information to police officers or doctors (in case if they are not interested). The privilege can be availed under the "Good Samaritan" scheme.
The valuable information was shared by Tirunelvelli RTO Francis in a seminar to create traffic awareness for Auto, Car and Lorry drivers.
