Big Spike in Tamil Nadu Today, 161 New Positive Cases Reported; Additional COVID-19 Details Listed

Total number of passengers under home quarantine – 31,375
Total number of passengers in government quarantine facilities – 40
Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 45 (34 government and 11 private)
Total number of samples tested till date – 1,19,748
Total number of samples tested today – 9787
Total number of persons tested till date – 1,10,718
Total number of persons tested today – 9643
Total number of suspected individuals in isolation ward admission – 1978
Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 1258
Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 48
Total number of active cases on date - 1035
