Punished for taking leave for grandmother's death; 16-year-old Tuticorin school girl commits suicide!

She is the first born daughter of Karunakaran and Poornaselvi. He is a daily wage worker while she is a cleaning staff. The deceased, Maria Aishwarya, has a brother. She is studying 11th grade, reports Hindu Tamil.
A few days ago, she had taken leave as her grandmother had passed away. When she went school the next day, the computer science teacher Gnanaprakasam severely scolded her and asked her to run in the ground.
She had informed her parents and her parents complained it to the headmaster. Enraged, reportedly, the teacher again scolded her and said none will take him off the school.
Disturbed, Aishwarya hung herself when she was alone at home. When her family found her hanging, they retrived her body and took her to hospital where she was declared dead.
Her body was taken to post mortem, while the people and relatives blocked the school. Police convinced them and have registered a case and investigation is on.
