16-year-old Boy shares Adult Content on Facebook - Crime Report!

A 16-year-old boy residing near Papanasam, was arrested for sharing child porn on Facebook, using his father’s phone. The police have taken the boy’s father into custody as well.

Riyas Ahmed (45) and his son have been arrested by the police after a special force had begun investigating the case of offenses against women on social media platforms. While the investigation was on-going, they had stumbled upon this profile which was actively used to share pornographic images of children.

After identifying the accused, the police interrogated with the parents. The parents had said that they did not know of this crime. However, the boy accepted to have committed the crime. The police added that he had no sense of guilt and was not apologetic for the same.

The police immediately arrested the juvenile. The child’s father was also arrested as he had not monitored the child’s activities regularly.

The 16-year-old has been sent to a Juvenile Detention Centre while the father is kept in jail.
