The 15th season of the IPL series is in full swing in India. So far 6 league matches have ended. The league match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders was played at the Mumbai Stadium yesterday.

Batting first, Kolkata scored 128 runs in 18.5 overs. Batting next, Bangalore won by 132 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 19.2 overs. With this, the Bangalore team has recorded their first victory in the current IPL series. Bangalore, who had earlier scored 205 against Punjab, missed out on a chance to win.

Former South African cricketer AB de Villiers, a former member of the Bangalore team, has spoken about Virat Kohli in this regard. In it, ‘We all know that Du Plessis has taken charge as the captain for the Bangalore team. Virat Kohli can play freely without any pressure as there is currently no captaincy responsibility hanging over his head. So I expect him to score over 600 runs this IPL season, ”said AB de Villiers.

Virat Kohli has stepped down as captain of the Bangalore team following last year's IPL series. Following this, the Bangalore team bought the South African player Du Plessis in the mega IPL auction. Following this, he was appointed as the captain of the Bangalore team. Du Plessis played for CSK for many years until last IPL season.
