Shubman Gill, India's youngest star, played in the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He also played in the Ranji Trophy. Thus he got a place in the Indian team.
Shubman Gill, who initially played aggressively and amassed runs, was sidelined for some time due to an injury in between. Following this he stumbled, unable to hit a high run. So his batting was criticized. He then played for Kolkata in the IPL. He is currently being auctioned by the Gujarat Titans. In the recent match against Delhi, he scored 84 runs in response to the criticism leveled at him.
At this point Shubman Gill posted a photo of himself on his Instagram page. Commenting below, former India captain and Bangalore player Virat Kohli posted, "The watch is good." Immediately, Shubman Gill replied, "It was a gift from the King (Virat Kohli)." It is gaining attention among the fans.
Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Virat Kohli, have never won a trophy in the IPL. This led to harsh criticism of him. Following this, Virat Kohli stepped down as the captain of the Bangalore team last year. South African Du Plessis is currently the new captain of the Bangalore team.
