Home > News Shots > Sports newsIt has been reported that the young Sunrisers Hyderabad player will not play in some matches due to injury.
At the start of the current IPL series, Sunrisers Hyderabad, led by Kane Williamson, did not fit in well. In the first 2 matches, both batting and bowling were affected. So the team faced harsh criticism.
After this, the Hyderabad team started with fresh impetus and defeated the next facing CSK team by 8 wickets. Similarly, they beat the unbeaten Gujarat by 8 wickets in the current IPL. The fans wished the Hyderabad team a return to winning ways.
It has been reported that Washington Sundar, the leading player of the Hyderabad team, will not play in some matches because he has injured his finger in a match against Gujarat yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, Hyderabad coach Tom Moody said, “Washington has torn the webbing in his right hand, between his thumb and first finger. We must monitor that over the next two-three days. Hopefully, it isn’t a significant blow. I’d imagine it’d take probably a week or so to settle down."
The absence of Washington Sundar is seen as a major setback for the Hyderabad team. Because he was unbeaten with 40 off 14 balls and also takes 2 wickets in each match in bowling.
