The 15th season of the ongoing IPL series in India has reached its climax. So far 10 league matches have ended. Rajasthan Royals have won both their matches and are leading the table with 4 points. Similarly, Hyderabad is at the bottom of the points table after losing a match.

In this situation, the Hyderabad team has lodged a sensational complaint against the umpire. The match between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad was played on March 29. Batting first, Rajasthan scored 210 runs in 20 overs. Batting next, Hyderabad lost by 149 runs for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of 20 overs.

The dismissal of Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson in the match caused great controversy. Rajasthan's fast bowler Prasid Krishna's over was bowled by Kane Williamson and the ball went to wicket keeper Sanju Samson. But when he caught the ball he slipped from his hand and went to the hand of the goddess who was standing nearby. When he caught the ball, it was as if the ball had hit the ground.

Thus the umpires on the field asked the third umpire for a review. The third umpire who checked this out declared Ananthapadmanabhan out. This came as a shock to the fans. Kane Williamson had scored only 2 then. Controversial as he will have an impact on the wicket game.

It is learned that the Hyderabad administration has lodged a complaint with the BCCI in this regard. One of the Hyderabad team administrators who spoke on the occasion said, ‘Yes, we have complained to the BCCI about this. We have made this complaint on the advice of our head coach. We will continue to do so until a solution is found.

Speaking about this, the head coach of the Hyderabad team Tom Moody said, ‘It was a big surprise for us to be declared out even after watching the TV replay. The umpires on the field behaved correctly. Evidence of not being out was clearly seen during the replay.

We are not umpires, but we know what is the right decision at that moment, "said Tom Moody. Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson has been fined Rs 12 lakh for slow bowling in the match.
