Batting first, CSK scored 216 for 4 in 20 overs. Shivam Dube top scored with 95 and Robin Uthappa with 88. Hasaranga took 2 wickets and Josh Hazlewood took 1 wicket for Bangalore.

Batting next, Bangalore scored only 193 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. So CSK won by 23 runs. For CSK, Maheesh Theekshana took 4 wickets, Jadeja 3 wickets and Mukesh Chaudhary and Bravo 1 wicket each.
