IPL 2022: Moeen Ali likely to miss CSK’s opening match against KKR due to this reason!

It has been reported that the key player of the CSK team has been ruled out of the first match of the IPL series.

The 15th edition of the IPL series is scheduled to take place on the 26th at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Chennai Super Kings, led by Dhoni, will take on the Kolkata Knight Riders, led by youngster Shreyas Iyer. This time the IPL matches are to be held in India and there is a lot of anticipation amongst the fans.

Meanwhile, CSK players who went to Surat are undergoing intensive training there. Deepak Chahar is said to be out of action due to an injury. Similarly, Moeen Ali, an all-rounder for the CSK team, is yet to get a visa. So it is said that he also might not get a chance to play in the first match.

Players from abroad and overseas are allowed to play in IPL matches after isolation. So even if Moeen Ali comes to India he will be in isolation for 3 days. It is said that he will not be able to play in the first IPL match against Kolkata. This is considered as a setback for the CSK team.

Moeen Ali, who played 15 matches for CSK in the IPL last year, scored 357 runs. He also excelled in bowling. It is noteworthy that the CSK team retained him before the auction. In this context, Moeen Ali's inability to play in the first match due to a visa issue has disappointed fans.
