Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians and Mayank Agarwal-led Punjab Kings clashed in a league match of the IPL yesterday. Mumbai won the toss and elected to field.

Batting first, Punjab scored 198 for 5 in 20 overs. Top scorers Shikhar Dhawan (70) and Mayank Agarwal (52) were the top scorers. Similarly, Jitesh Sharma scored 30 off 15 balls.

Batting next, Mumbai scored only 186 for 9 in 20 overs. So Punjab won by 12 runs. After losing this match, Mumbai team has created a bad record by losing 6 matches in a row in the IPL series. That is why the team's captain Rohit Sharma has come under heavy criticism.

The IPL management has also fined Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma Rs 24 lakh for taking more time than the time given in yesterday's match and throwing overs. The IPL management has also announced that the players of the team will be fined Rs 6 lakh or 25 per cent of their salary for the match.

Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma has already been fined Rs 12 lakh for a slow over in the first match of the ongoing IPL. This is said to be the first time in the IPL series that a team has been fined twice.
