Lucknow Super Giants clash with Mumbai Indians in the 37th league match of the IPL series. Batting first, Lucknow scored 168 for 6 in 20 overs. Captain KL Rahul top-scored with 103 runs.
Batting next, Mumbai scored only 132 for 8 in 20 overs. So Lucknow won by 36 runs. KL Rahul was given the Man of the Match award.
The IPL management has fined Lucknow captain KL Rahul for slow bowling in the match. This is the second time in the current IPL series that he has been fined Rs 25 lakh. All players are required to pay 6 lakh rupees or 25 per cent of their salary for the match.
Lucknow captain KL Rahul will be fined 100 per cent of his match pay if the offense is repeated. And will be banned from playing in a match. It has also been reported that the team will have to pay 50 per cent of their salaries or a fine of Rs 12 lakh.
The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Grounds in Chennai from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
