Former CSK player launches his own new cricket academy - full details!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsFormer Chennai Super Kings batsman Kedar Jadhav has started a new chapter in cricket.
Kedar Jadhav made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 2014. He first made his ODI debut and started playing in T20 matches the following year. He played for Delhi in the IPL series during the same period. He then played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team led by Virat Kohli from 2016-2017.
Following this, he played for the Chennai Super Kings in 2018. He made his debut in the first match against Mumbai that year, hitting a six off the last ball. But in the years that followed, the game turned out badly.
Especially in the match against Kolkata in the year 2020, there was a situation to score more runs in the last over. And Kedar Jadhav took singles in the field and shocked the fans. So he was severely criticized. Following this, the CSK team released him. He then went on to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He didnot show much good play there and thus no team picked him in the ongoing IPL auction.
Kedar Jadhav has started a new cricket academy. He started the academy in his hometown - Pune with renowned businessman and filmmaker Punit Balan. It is named as Punit Balan and Kedar Jadhav Cricket Academy.
The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Grounds in Chennai from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
