Former India captain Kapil Dev has recorded his critique of key players in the Indian team.

Veterans Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma have been rested. Both Kohli and Rohit Sharma have not played well in this IPL series. This has led to criticism of them.

With the T20 World Cup series set to begin later this year, the Indian team needs the excellent batting of three starters - Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. But recently, former captain Kapil Dev commented on the stumbling block of Rohit Sharma and Kohli.

Speaking recently, he said, "The reputation of the trio (Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul) is huge, maybe so much pressure, but it should not be. You have to play fearless cricket. They are such great players, but when it comes time to add runs fast they get out. As far as T20 matches are concerned, you can take your time in the first 8-12 balls but you are out after you have played 25 balls. They run out, so the pressure starts to build on them.”
