Home > News Shots > Sports newsYesterday's IPL match was one of the best matches of this season.
Butler's second century
The match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders yesterday (April 18) was one of the busiest matches of the season. Rajasthan Royals, who batted first in the match, added 217 at the end of 20 overs with a superb century from opener Jos Butler. This is Butler's second century in this season.
Shocked Kolkata….
The KKR team marched towards this Himalayan goal and played in full action. Aaron Finch, the team's opener, played well and added 58 off 28 balls. Captain Shreyas Iyer was also fast approaching the century.
Four wickets in one over
Chahal took four wickets in the 17th over, including Shreyas Iyer, Venkatesh Iyer, Shivam Mavi and Pat Cummins. He took three wickets continuously in a row. KKR's chances of victory faded after this over. But Umesh Yadav's last-minute action caused quite a stir. In the end, Rajasthan lost by 7 runs.
Orange Cap, Purple Cap
Two Rajasthan Royals players are dominating the IPL. Jos Butler won the Orange Cup with the most runs and Yuzvendra Chahal won the Purple Cup with the most wickets.
