Former Indian cricketer Arun Lal (age 66) made his Test debut in 1982. Until 1989, he played in 16 Tests and 13 ODIs for India. He has also scored over 10000 runs in local cricket.
He retired from cricket in 1989 and has been working as a cricket commentator on television. He has since then coached local cricket team in his home state of Kolkata, Bengal. Under his leadership, the Bengal team, which has made a lot of progress, has excelled in this year's Ranji Trophy and qualified for the knockout rounds.
In this situation, it has been reported that Arun Lal is going to marry his long time girlfriend Bulbul Saha soon. The 38-year-old Bulbul has been working as a teacher. Arun Lal is already married and divorced due to differences of opinion.
Their wedding is scheduled to take place on May 2 at 7 pm in Kolkata. It has been reported that Arun Lal has invited cricketers who are close to him for the wedding and key executives of the Bengal Cricket Board.
The Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year at the Island Ground in Chennai Island on May 15 and 22 from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
