"Dhoni gave this special advice on the first day of practice" - Rajvardhan Hangargekar opens up ahead of IPL

Youngster Rajvardhan Hangargekar opens up abou the advice given by CSK captain MS Dhoni.

The 15th season of the IPL series is all set to kickstart from the 26th March in Mumbai. In the first match, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders will be seen competing each other. This match is undoubtedly one of the most-awaited matches amongst the fans. 

Chennai Super Kings have picked a few young players in the mega IPL auction that ended last month. The CSK team bought all-rounder Rajvardhan Hangargekar, who was part of the Indian team that won the Under-19 World Cup, for Rs 1.5 crore. Rajvardhan caught everyone's attention with his outstanding performance in the Under - 19 World Cup.

Rajvardhan Hangargekar opened up about the advice given by Captain Dhoni during the practise session. India Cements recently hosted a discussion which was attended by CSK captain MS Dhoni, newcomers to the CSK squad Rajvardhan and Shivam Dube. Many fans threw up several questions to the trio during the video conversation.

One of the fans then asked Rajvardhan what advice Dhoni had given him. Dhoni interrupted before he could reply and joked, "He (Hangergekar) should improve his football skills."

Speaking on the occasion, Rajvardhan said, ‘On the first day of practice, MS Dhoni told me to go with what you’re already doing. Don’t change anything. Just keep doing what you’re really good at. It’s really good for me. I had a good piece of advice that I have the freedom to do what I’m doing.”
