A few days ago, Chennai Super Kings player Ambati Rayudu posted on Twitter that he was retiring from this year's IPL series and immediately deleted it. This came as a shock to the fans of the Chennai team. Commenting on this, CSK team CEO Kasi Viswanathan said, ‘Rayudu has been suffering from depression due to not playing well in the last few matches. So he tweeted like that and then deleted it. He will continue to be on the team.

In this context, the Chennai Super Kings played against the Gujarat Titans yesterday. But Ambati Rayudu was not included in the match. CSK lost the match by 7 wickets.

Chennai head coach Stephen Fleming has commented on the matter. In it, ‘Rayudu has been depressed for personal reasons for the past few days. Now he is OK. He will continue to feature on the team. We have no problem with that, "said Stephen Fleming.

Chennai team's performance in the current IPL series caused dissatisfaction among the fans. It has won only 4 of the 13 matches played so far. So that comes from 9th place on the point list. It is noteworthy that the Chennai team missed the opportunity to go to the play - off round.

The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 21 and 22 at the Island Ground in Chennai Island from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
