CSK scored 210 against the Lucknow Super Giants in the ensuing match. Many fans considered it difficult for the Lucknow team to beat this Himalayan target. But Lucknow won by 211 runs in 19.3 overs.
Following this, the CSK team played the match against the Punjab Kings the day before yesterday. Batting first, Punjab Kings scored 180 for 8 in 20 overs. CSK team CEO Kasi Viswanathan informed about the visit of Deepak Chahar, "We have not yet received any report from the National Cricket Academy (NCA). We expect a report on Deepak Chahar's fitness next week. The NCA will decide on his visit only after confirming his fitness."
