The 22nd league match of the IPL series was played at the Mumbai ground yesterday. The Jadeja-led Chennai Super Kings clashed with the Du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore. Batting first, CSK scored 216 for 4 in 20 overs. Shivam Dube top-scored with 95 and Robin Uthappa with 88.

Batting next, Bangalore lost by 193 runs for the loss of 9 wickets at the end of 20 overs. For Chennai, Mahesh Theekshana took 4 wickets, Jadeja 3 wickets and Bravo and Mukesh Chaudhary took 1 wicket each.

In this situation, the umpire gave the CSK team no ball due to a mistake made by Ambati Rayudu in the match. Bangalore's Dinesh Karthik faced the 4th ball of the 14th over thrown by Bravo. Then suddenly it was declared no ball by the umpire. This came as a shock to the CSK players. Because Bravo did not cross the crease line when bowling. However, the question arose as to why the umpire gave no ball.

Immediately wicketkeeper Dhoni went to the umpire and questioned him. Behind the batsman were 3 fielders on the square leg side. But only 2 fielders are allowed to stand there (There were three fielders behind the square on the leg-side. Only two are allowed). But Ambati Rayudu came in by mistake and stopped. Noticing this, the umpire declared no ball. It was then that many fans came to know that such a rule exists in cricket. This video is currently being circulated on the Internet.
