Video of Cristiano Ronaldo angrily smashing a fan's mobile phone has gone viral on social media.

Cristiano Ronaldo, considered a football legend, is currently playing for Manchester United. Meanwhile, a match was played last Saturday at Goodison Park in Liverpool, England. Manchester United and Everton competed against each other in the match. 

Numerous football fans came to the stadium to watch the match. Ronaldo's Manchester United lost 2-1 in a highly anticipated match.

The team players were leaving the field after the match. A fan at the time held out his phone to take a photo of Ronaldo. Ronaldo who got angry and smashed the phone which fell down and scattered. Fans were shocked to see this.

The video of Cristiano Ronaldo smashing a fan's mobile phone has gone viral on social media. Following this, Ronaldo apologized for his actions on his official Instagram page.

"I would like to apologize for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship."
