The 15th season of the IPL is being played in Mumbai and Pune, India. So far 6 league matches have been completed. Jadeja-led Chennai Super Kings and KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants will clash today (31.03.2022) at the Mumbai Stadium.

Lucknow and Gujarat have teamed up for the first time in this year's IPL. So all the players on the team were disbanded and the mega IPL auction took place. Many young players and foreign players have the opportunity. Similarly, many leading players have dropped out of the IPL series.

West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle, known as the T20 cricket legend in that category, did not register his name in this year's IPL mega auction and thus is not playing in the current IPL series. This caused sadness among his fans.

Chris Gayle, who posted a video of himself working out in the gym on his Instagram page, said he was getting ready for the next IPL series. This has caused excitement among cricket fans.

Chris Gayle has played for Kolkata, Bangalore and Punjab since 2008. He has stunned his opponent team with his Himalayan sixes and brilliant performance. In particular, in a match against Pune Warriors in 2011, he scored 175 runs to put the entire IPL team back on track. He also holds the record for scoring most sixes and most fifties in an IPL series. Now, Chris Gayle's announcement that he will be participating in the IPL series next year has been well received by the fans.
