R Ashwin becomes 2nd off-spinner to take 150 wickets in IPL!

Tamil Nadu's Ashwin has created a record in the IPL series by taking 3 wickets in the match against Royal Challengers.

The 39th league match of the IPL series was played at the Pune Stadium. The Royal Challengers Bangalore team led by Du Plessis and the Rajasthan Royals team led by Sanju Samson clashed. Batting first, Rajasthan scored 144 for 8 in 20 overs.

Ryan Barrack top-scored with 56 off 31 balls (3 fours, 4 sixes). For Bangalore - Mohammad Siraj, Josh Hazlewood and Wanindu Hasaranga took 2 wickets each.

Batting next, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost all their wickets for 115 runs in 19.3 overs. Rajasthan won by 29 runs. For Rajasthan, Kuldeep Sen took 4 wickets, Tamil Nadu's Ashwin took 3 wickets and Prasidh Krishna took 2 wickets.

In this situation, the spinner Ashwin took 3 wickets in the match and touched the record of 150 wickets in the IPL series. Ashwin is now ranked 8th in the list of players who have taken more than 150 wickets in the IPL. He is also the second off-spinner to take 150 wickets after Harbhajan Singh. Chennai Super Kings' Bravo (181 wickets) tops the list of highest wicket takers in IPL series.
