Yuvraj Singh Reacts To Shubman Gill’s Recent Instagram Post For Keeping His Hands in His Pockets
Home > News Shots > Sports newsAfter Team India won the 3rd ODI against Australia, fans and cricket experts hailed the Indian team for their match winning streak.
Amid all the wishes pouring in for the Virat Kohli-led team it was former India batsman Yuvraj Singh's comments that made headlines. Yuvraj, has been very active on social media and also loves to pull the legs of other cricketers.
Recently, it was India youngster Shubman Gill who was attacked by Yuvraj Singh's comment. It all began after Gill took to Instagram and posted a couple of photos of himself from the third ODI against Australia.
After posting the pictures, Gill wrote: “Great feeling representing my country." In one of the photos, Gill was seen standing alongside Kohli while in the other, he was standing with his teammates with his hands in his pocket.
In the 3rd ODI, Gill replaced Mayank Agarwal; during his stay on the field, he hit three fours and a six during his 33-run knock and also shared a 56-run stand with India skipper Virat Kohli.
Coming back to Yuvraj's comment, after Gill's photo went viral, Yuvraj Singh hilariously trolled the young cricketer by saying, “Indeed a pleasure batting alongside the great @virat.kohli ! Maharajjeb vicho kado India da match chal reha club da nahi".
This translated to: Why are your hands in your pocket? You are playing for India, not a club.” Check out the post and comments below:
