What was Dinesh Karthik doing in this team's dressing room wearing their jersey?

India's wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik was spotted in Port of Spain, Trinidad. He also attended Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2019. Surprisingly, he was found in the dressing room of a team alongside McCullum.

The team, Trinbago Knight Riders, and Kolkata Knight Riders, which is lead by Dinesh Karthik, share the same owners. Brendon McCullum has been appointed as KKR's new coach.

No Indian player except Yuvraj Singh has been given the permission to play in foreign leagues. Though the option sounds unlikely, he could have gone there to share insights with the team's players.

However, it could also be that he wanted to familiarize himself with the new coach and spend some time to discuss strategies or plans or may be check out the players before the auction is up.  Amidst all the speculations, th exact reason is not known yet.
